The AQUA ILLUMINATION Nero 5 is a compact and quiet aquarium circulation pump with an adjustable water flow rate of up to 11,300 L/H. With a diameter of only 7.2 cm, this pump is particularly suitable for saltwater aquariums, as well as cichlid tanks.
Very easy to install, the Nero 5 incorporates a powerful magnet allowing it to be installed on glass up to 16 mm thick, and its head can be tilted at an angle of 15°.
The Nero 5 circulation pump replicates the water flow of a natural reef environment, promoting oxygenation in your aquarium and the health of your corals. It is fully configurable via the myAI smartphone app, or manually with its controller.

Its magnetic mounting system provides good stability, and the rubber vibration dampers ensure absolute silence by preventing vibrations from being transmitted to the aquarium glass. The strong magnet allows for secure attachment to glass up to 16 mm thick.
The AQUA ILLUMINATION Nero 5 circulation pump is fully configurable wirelessly via the free myAI smartphone app, available on iOS and Android. You can choose from 3 circulation modes:
- Random: simulates a dynamic reef environment with random flow changes throughout the day
- Pulse: random high/low flow rate change with adjustable interval and maximum flow rate
- Constant: adjustable constant flow
A Schedule mode allows you to customize a daily schedule by choosing from different brewing modes.
A Feed mode allows the mixing to be paused for 10 minutes to facilitate feeding, by simply pressing the button on the controller for 3 to 5 seconds.
