Tissue culture aquarium plant in a sealed cup.
Anubias barteri var. nana: A small, attractive plant that thrives in all environments. It was found in Cameroon and can reach 5 to 10 cm in height. The creeping rhizome from which the leaves develop can reach a length of 10-15 cm, or even more. Its slow growth allows slow-growing algae to establish themselves. It is best planted on a rock or driftwood, to which it should be tied with nylon thread until it takes root. If planted in soil, avoid covering the rhizome, which could rot. It flowers frequently when submerged. It is not eaten by herbivorous fish.
