Natural white sand obtained from a very high-quality substrate. It is free of all contaminants. Thanks to its calcium carbonate content, it stabilizes the physicochemical parameters of the aquarium water. Due to its composition, the application of AF Bio Sand significantly accelerates the aquarium's maturation process and allows for faster colonization. The bottles included in the kit contain strains of nitrifying bacteria isolated in the laboratory and a medium that facilitates their growth and multiplication. The kit's special formula guarantees the establishment of the nitrogen cycle and the elimination of harmful chemical compounds from the water much faster than with traditional substrates. AF Bio Sand's extremely simple operation allows you to quickly prepare sand for use in the aquarium. The sand grain size ranges from 0.5 to 1.5 mm.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 

• Some sand residue may appear during transport and is completely harmless to your aquarium. However, to prevent water cloudiness, we recommend rinsing it with reverse osmosis water before use.
• Pour the contents of both bottles into 3 liters of reverse osmosis water, mix well, add to the bag of sand and leave for 24 hours.
• To allow bacteria to multiply, do not close the bag.

We do not recommend storing the sand in cool places, as this can significantly increase bacterial growth time. The optimal maturation temperature for the sand is approximately 25-28°C. After 24 hours, the prepared sand is ready for use in the aquarium. Keep out of reach of children. Product for aquarium use only. Not for human consumption.
