Starting a new aquarium

Without the addition of Bactocool, it takes between 30 and 45 days for toxic waste, ammonia and nitrites, to be converted into harmless nitrates. A lethal amount of ammonia and nitrites can accumulate during this long start-up period. Using Bactocool allows biological equilibrium to be reached in a very short time (a few days), permitting the immediate introduction of fish.

Existing aquarium

Disruption of the necessary biological balance can occur during filter cleaning, when adding fish, or after medical treatment. Prevent sudden fish mortality due to ammonia and nitrites by using Bactocool.

How to use Bactocool?

Shake well before use.
One 100 ml bottle is sufficient to treat aquariums up to 250 liters.
It is best to pour Bactocool directly into the filter, if present.
Applying too high a dose may result in temporarily cloudy aquarium water.
This is perfectly normal and will disappear after 1 to 2 days.

Conservation

Since Bactocool contains live bacteria, it is recommended to keep the product refrigerated (4°C).

The product can still be used safely after the recommended expiry date, but it will be of reduced effectiveness.
