Gel-O-Drops 24+ Hemp & Spirulina is the FIRST! ornamental fish food with a 4% hemp supplement in the form of hemp flour. Hemp greatly promotes the vitality and health of fish. Hemp is an ideal plant-based source of protein, amino acids, and unsaturated fatty acids (e.g., linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids). For example, hemp contains 65% globulin protein and 35% albumin protein. These are particularly well absorbed and utilized by fish. Hemp also contains many important minerals, such as sodium, manganese, zinc, copper, iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus. All of these substances are essential for the health and longevity of fish! The organic hemp seeds come from the EU, and the hemp variety used is naturally free of THC and pesticides.
