Aquariums with few plants, cold water and saltwater tanks, or fish breeding all require a good oxygen supply. Similarly, when a lid or lighting reduces the air space above the water's surface, you must introduce additional air, otherwise the oxygen will be consumed too quickly.

The EHEIM diffuser provides "fresh" air from outside, which regularly enriches the water's oxygen level.

This small device is mounted against the glass at the end of the outlet tube, creating an obtuse angle of injection that also produces good water movement. The diffuser's air tube is positioned outside the aquarium. Using the pressure regulator clamp, you can adjust the amount of air drawn in according to your needs. The device mixes the incoming air with the incoming water, which is injected by the filter pressure below the water's surface.
