Bacto Reef Balls contain highly effective bacterial cultures that control nutrient levels and help prevent unsightly algae growth in saltwater aquariums. These results are achieved through the use of a slow-release carrier material.

Bacto Reef Balls are very easy to use. Simply place the required amount of Reef Balls in your filter and replace them every two weeks when the original sphere has dissolved. The seawater-stable polymer matrix allows the bacteria to be added slowly to the aquarium. A steady supply of beneficial bacteria eliminates the need for daily feeding and unwanted dosage spikes.

DOSAGE:

2 Reef Balls / 100 Liters / every 2 weeks directly into your filter. 

The balls are made from a biodegradable polymer. Some shrinkage is normal.

Start with half the recommended dose to assess your aquarium's specific needs. Place Bacto Reef Balls in a high-flow area of ​​your filter. We recommend placing the balls in a filter sock. 

CONSERVATION :

BACTO REEF BALLS contain live bacteria that live within their perfectly protected gel coating. After opening, store the product in a cool, dark place. Consume BACTO REEF BALLS within 6-9 months of opening.
