Carb L is an activated charcoal specifically made for permanent and long-term use.

Extremely pure, steam-activated, and pre-cleaned, Carb Lest is effective at removing yellowing, turbidity, and toxins from water, making it essential for maintaining good water quality in any aquarium. Carb L is phosphate-free and has a very high absorption capacity. While designed for continuous, long-term use, it is recommended to change it every 30 days. Suitable for both saltwater and freshwater, it purifies water without any negative effects.

Continuous treatment of Carb L plays a fundamental role in a Fauna Marin Zeo-Light system. Carb L is essential for maintaining sensitive SPS and LPS corals and is therefore used continuously. The activated carbon treatment results in crystal-clear water.

Dosage: 

1L (500gr) for 1000L if used in a fluidized bed filter. 

2L (1kg) for 1000L if used in a sock.

Frequency of change:

Replace the Carb L activated carbon after 4 weeks of use. Be sure to alternate between replacing the carbon and zeolite. 

Preparation: 

Soak the activated charcoal in boiling reverse osmosis water and leave it to soak for 24 hours in the same water.
