The HabiStat dial thermometer measures the temperature for a safe and perfect environment. Your terrarium has different zones, each with different temperature requirements. Place the thermometer midway between the warm and cool sides for an average reading. For a more precise check, use several thermometers and place them in the area where you want to measure the temperature.
