Why measure the concentrations of nitrates in aquarium?

Nitrates are developing from the dropouts of fish and leftover food. They strongly promote the proliferation and growth of algae and cause fish stress to a relatively high concentration.
Optimal content: less than 10 mg/L
above 50 mg/L, it is recommended to partially replace the water with distribution water low in nitrates (also to be measured before adding!)
