A simple container is all you need to hatch brine shrimp eggs perfectly. Fill it with 1 liter of tap water, then add 32 g of brine shrimp salt (ref. 21600) and a pinch of brine shrimp eggs. At room temperature, the larvae hatch after 24–36 hours. Good ventilation and appropriate lighting accelerate the process. You can optimize brine shrimp farming with HOBBY's rearing systems. In addition to the incubator, the HOBBY Incubator Set (ref. 21900) includes a tray with an air pump in which the hatched brine shrimp can be further reared. The HOBBY Flat Hatcher (ref. 21700) operates without an air pump and is ideal for the occasional, direct feeding of small quantities of larvae. HOBBY's Liquizell starter food (ref. 30900) and Mikrozell rearing food (ref. 30310) allow you to feed brine shrimp naturally. The HOBBY brine shrimp sieve (ref. 21620), and especially its combination sieve (ref. 21630), with mesh sizes of 180, 300, 560, and 900 μm, is an essential tool for collecting and cleaning brine shrimp.
