Quick test to determine potassium levels in a freshwater aquarium.
– For optimal plant growth: determine the ideal potassium level for fertilization in freshwater aquariums
– Quick test: fill a test tube with the water to be tested, add the reagents, pour the cloudy test water into the special test tube until the cross underneath is no longer visible, and read the volume. This number corresponds to the potassium (K) level in mg/L.
Too little potassium stunts plant growth, even in the presence of other factors such as CO2, iron, and light. To increase potassium levels, use JBL Ferropol or JBL ProScape K Macroelements fertilizers.
Detailed information on water testing and troubleshooting can be found on the JBL Aquarium Topics website.
Included in delivery: 1 potassium test kit for approximately 25 measurements, 2 reagents, special glass test tube, syringe, measuring scoop, and color chart. Reagent refills are available separately.
