JBL PROFLORA CO2 ADVANCED SET V
Complete CO2 fertilization kit, with 2 pressure gauges and night shut-off, WITHOUT BOTTLE, for vigorous and beautiful aquarium plants.
- CO2 fertilization system with solenoid valve for night shut-off, for optimal supply to all freshwater aquarium plants from 40 to 600 l, thus preventing algae.
- Easy assembly: screw the regulator with the solenoid valve onto the cylinder (not supplied), connect the hose to the bubble counter/non-return valve and the reactor. Connect the solenoid valve to the timer (not supplied), set the number of bubbles – done.
- For aquarists who already own a CO2 cylinder. No hose slippage thanks to screw-on hose fittings, non-return valve preventing water from entering the cylinder.
- The correct concentration of CO2 in the aquarium water is controlled on the display of the supplied Permanent CO2/pH test and can be readjusted if necessary.
- Contents: regulator with solenoid valve, 3 m of hose, bubble counter with non-return valve, reactor and TAIFUN CO2 extension kit, Permanent CO2/pH test with reagents, 2 x 100 ml fertilizers, 1 x 10 ml daily fertilizer.
Aquarium Plant Food:
Plants provide the aquarium with oxygen, which is vital for its inhabitants. They prevent algae growth, eliminate harmful substances, offer hiding places for animals, and reduce pathogens. The JBL fertilization system delivers CO2, their primary nutrient, to the plants via the water. The plants absorb it and, with the help of light, convert it into sugars and oxygen through photosynthesis.
Easy assembly.
The system is ready to connect, except for the CO2 cylinder, which is not included in the kit. Screw the regulator onto the CO2 cylinder and connect it using the hose from the solenoid valve with the bubble counter (non-return valve included), then connect it to the reactor in the aquarium. The CO2 then enters the aquarium and is dissolved in the water by the reactor. The CO2 supply can be stopped at night using the solenoid valve installed in the intermediate position (nighttime shut-off: not included). The continuous CO2/pH test displays the amount of CO2 dissolved in the water, which can be readjusted if necessary.
The effectiveness of a CO₂ system depends on several factors. Key elements include carbonate hardness, the quantity and type of plants, and the strength of surface water movement. A 500g CO₂ cylinder, if not interrupted overnight by a solenoid valve, will last approximately four months with the basic setting. Recyclable, single-use CO₂ cylinders can be purchased individually or in more economical three-packs.
The regulator supplied is compatible with both JBL refillable cylinders (System M, thread type W21.8×1/14) and JBL disposable cylinders (System U, thread type M10x1).
