- The bubble counter makes the invisible CO2 gas visible, allowing it to be counted. The non-return valve prevents any backflow of water.
- Fill the bubble counter with water, connect the tube to the CO2 system and reactor, and attach it to the outside of the aquarium using 2 suction cups on the glass or 2 screws on the cabinet.
- The bubble counter allows control of the CO2 input: if there is too little CO2 in the water, the number of bubbles can be increased in a controlled manner.
- Safety: screw-on pipe fittings to prevent accidental pipe detachment.
- Contents: CO2 bubble counter with integrated non-return valve. Mounting via 2 suction cups/screws. Dimensions: 105/175/40 mm.
Optimal Plant Nutrition:
For aquarium plants, maintaining the correct CO2 level in the water is crucial. Carbon dioxide serves as a basic nutrient for plants, thus promoting their optimal growth. Plants utilize CO2 for photosynthesis, providing the water with essential oxygen. They also eliminate harmful substances, prevent algae growth, offer hiding places for animals, and reduce pathogens.
Easy installation
: Fill the bubble counter with water. Connect it with a hose to the regulator or solenoid valve of the CO2 system and reactor in the aquarium (CO2 system and reactor not included). Attach the bubble counter to the outside of the aquarium with 2 suction cups or to the cabinet with 2 screws.
Safety:
The bubble counter features screw-on hose fittings and is easy to fill and clean thanks to a threaded connection with an O-ring. The correct amount of CO2 varies for each aquarium and depends on the volume, water movement, and planting. It is recommended to start with 10 CO2 bubbles per minute. A CO2 test (JBL PROAQUATEST CO2-pH Permanent9) can be used to check the CO2 level in the aquarium water.
Easy counting of CO2 bubbles
A magnifying glass incorporated in the transparent part facilitates counting bubbles for precise measurement of the amount of CO2.
