- Regulates the contribution of CO2 for a perfect growth of plants in the aquarium and an ideal pH for aquarium fish.
- Connect the temperature probe, transformer and pH electrode (not supplied), connect to the solenoid valve, enter the desired pH or use the automatic program.
- The touchscreen allows for easy menu navigation. For automatic CO2 input adjustment, measure and enter the carbonate hardness (KH).
- The program calculates the ideal pH from the KH and pH levels present and adds CO2 until the ideal pH is reached. It also displays the water temperature.
- Contents: CO2 controller with touch screen, wall mount, power supply, temperature probe + suction cup, connecting cable to the solenoid valve, test tube holder for calibration liquids.
Healthy fish thanks to optimal pH.
The acid content determines the pH of the water. To keep fish and plants healthy, this pH must be constantly monitored and adjusted to the prevailing conditions.
Technical information:
With temperature probe, modern touch screen, probe control at each calibration, error diagnosis in case of failure, permanent display: current/setpoint pH, probe voltage, temperature, calibration reminder in d/h, solenoid valve status, measurement accuracy, setpoint value setting: free selection or automatic calculation by auto pH, automatic temperature compensation during measurement and calibration, free hysteresis (deviation above or below the switching point), password lock, pH alarm (mains alarm), temperature alarm (mains and target alarm), eligible valve status, language selection: D/EN/F/NL/I/DK/E/P, reset function, universal power supply suitable for all common mains voltages worldwide.
Why a pH controller? To automate CO2 addition, instead of using a timer for nighttime shut-off, you can connect a CO2/pH controller (JBL PROFLORA pH-Control Touch). You enter the carbonate hardness (KH) of the aquarium water once, and the computer then calculates the appropriate pH, which is adjusted by adding CO2. The computer then controls the solenoid valve and adds as much CO2 as needed until the calculated or desired pH is reached. The solenoid valve is then closed and reopened to maintain a stable pH. The water's pH is measured using a pH electrode, which is NOT included in the kit and must be purchased separately. This ensures you don't receive an expired electrode in the kit, but always a brand new one straight from the factory! Alternatively, instead of an automatic system, you can also enter the pH manually, independently of the KH.
