The background fish are rather looking for their food on the ground and the food tablets are therefore an ideal solution for them. The flowing pellets for the other fish will also reach the bottom, but in fact only when you have given too much! It is therefore wise to nourish the background fish separately and the species swimming in free water.
The special biological concept species.
The inhabitants of the funds also have different food requirements.
Almost all of the background fish eat the JBL pronovo tabs, but the species swimming in free water quickly learn from the smell that the tablets are eaten. The very large fish eat them at once, the smallest nibbles them. As soon as the tablet adheres to the window, all fish love to eat it and it is very pleasant to observe them.
Among the plcos, many species are mainly herbivores (eg blue catfish, ancistrus dolichopterus). The JBL Pronovo Pleco was created for them. But among the rental, there are species like the Pleco-zebra (Hypancistrus Zebra = L 46) or the Pleco-Leopard (Pseudacanthicus Cf. Leopardus = L 114) which, if they are not predators, prefer animal food to plants.
The battleship fish have a fairly large food repertoire. The JBL Pronovo Corydoras (Corydoras = scientific name of the genre) therefore contains the adequate ingredients, p. ex. Shrimps and spirulina. For a healthy diet, corydoras need varied food. The shrimps serve as representatives to all small animal organisms and also for dead fish flesh that these fish find in the ground with their barbels. Loches are rather omnivores who love snails, but sometimes also eat aquarium plants. For them, JBL has designed the Pronovo Botia.
