JUWEL Bioflow Super is the ideal internal filter for beginner aquariums of approximately 100 liters and offers numerous advantages. Bioflow Super operates on the principle that "the water stays in the aquarium!" making it the safest way to filter your aquarium water.
Bioflow Super functions without hose connections, which are prone to leaks and also reduce pump power due to friction.

Large filtration volume and easy maintenance

This filtration system is characterized by its large filtration volume, spacious enough to ensure excellent mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration. Unlike other filtration systems, especially external filters, Bioflow Super cleans itself in just a few minutes.

Excellent filtration thanks to the double current principle

The dual-flow principle allows for different flow rates within the JUWEL Bioflow Super. A relatively fast flow is particularly advantageous for the mechanical and chemical filtration of the upper filter section. Conversely, a slower flow in the lower section is beneficial for the optimal development of anaerobic bacteria, which play a vital role in biological filtration. The
Bioflow Super is equipped with a powerful Bioflow pump with a flow rate of 300 l/h.

Bioflow filters are also prepared to accommodate JUWEL heaters, which are thus optimally integrated into the water circuit and ensure even heat distribution in all areas of your aquarium.

Each Bioflow Super comes with four high-quality filter media

►Filter wool traps large impurities suspended in the water, thus serving as the first mechanical filter.
►Activated carbon absorbs odors and toxic substances, ensuring crystal-clear water. It therefore acts as a chemical filter.
►Nitrax is a biological filter medium containing special microorganisms designed to break down toxic metabolic byproducts (ammonium/nitrite) that form in your aquarium.
►This helps reduce the risk of fish deaths. Nitrax also reduces algae growth through the anaerobic decomposition of nitrate, thus promoting the health of your fish.
►Fine filter foam is primarily used for biological filtration in the anaerobic zone.
►The special filter basket allows for easy removal of the filter media for cleaning.
