stability and security
Carbonate hardness (KH) is one of the most important parameters of aquarium water.
Many freshwater aquarium fish prefer relatively hard water.
In addition, KH has a buffering effect that prevents dangerous variations in pH value.
This is why, as a general rule, for community aquariums a KH value of at least 6°dKH must be maintained, much higher for special cases such as African cichlids.
In this way, the well-being of the fish is ensured and the water proves to be very resistant and easy to maintain.
Sera KH/pH plus increases KH precisely and sustainably up to the desired value.
The pH value is also increased and safely stabilized
-has a buffering effect and ensures pH stability
-effective against biogenic decalcification
-creates conditions adapted to the needs of the animals
