Actinic blue lighting is ideal for feeding endosymbiotic algae on soft and hard corals and other invertebrates. Because the blue spectrum emitted by the LEDs is broadened using two different blue LEDs, it covers the wavelengths important for photosynthesis.
Furthermore, it can be used to enhance colors and increase the depth effect, as supplemental lighting in Malawi aquariums, or as a night light. It is best combined with the LED X-Change Tube neutral brilliant white or the LED X-Change Tube daylight sunrise.
In combination with the sera LED Digital Dimmer, it is possible to adjust the brightness or intensity of the sera LED X-ChangeTube marine blue sunrise, also allowing the simulation of sunrise and sunset at the time programmed by the user.
The modular LED X-Change System allows for the switch from energy-intensive fluorescent tubes to economical, eco-friendly, and versatile LED lighting. Installing the LED tubes is very easy, as T8 or T5 sockets can be used as supports. The use of low-voltage technology and waterproof tubes ensures a high level of safety.
