Echinodorus grisebachii 'Tropica', also known as Echinodorus parviflorus 'Tropica', is a distinctive small sword plant that was discovered in the Tropica nursery in Denmark in the 1980s. This plant is well-suited to the foreground or midground of aquariums due to its compact size, typically ranging from 5 to 10 cm in height. It forms a spreading rosette of medium to dark green, slightly blistered, narrow, obovate leaves, similar to those of Samolus valerandi.
