Echinodorus tenellus 'Green' has, following a new botanical determination, changed its name to Helanthium tenellum 'Green'.
This small rosette-forming plant readily creates a beautiful carpet 5-10 cm high thanks to its offsets, when good light and nutrient-rich soil are available. Even under strong light, its color remains a fresh green, unlike the common tenellum, whose leaves turn reddish most of the time.
An easy and undemanding foreground plant.
