Tissue crop aquarium plant in sealed cup.
The Indian Hygrophila pinnatifida, when grown in an aquarium, boasts lobed leaves that are leathery brown on top and burgundy underneath. This plant produces horizontal lateral shoots, and its apex shoots should be pinched back to maintain compact growth. The main stem can reach 15 to 40 cm in length and 10 to 20 cm in width. The lateral shoots readily attach to decorative stones or driftwood.
Its silhouette and color are spectacular in a small group against a calm background. Its compact form is maintained under good lighting thanks to its moderate growth rate.
