Juncus repens is native to the marshy areas of southeastern North America. This herbaceous plant is relatively undemanding in its cultivation. In unobstructed light and with a good supply of micronutrients, it develops a reddish-brown hue. In moderate light, it has a pleasing green color. Its moderate but steady growth makes Juncus repens easy to manage. It can be propagated by cuttings, like stem plants.
