Littorella uniflora is an easily recognizable plant in the aquarium.
It grows in the wild on the banks of the lakes in Europe, North and South America. It tolerates a fairly low intensity of light, but that would add the length of the leaves.
Each rosette is to plant separately by spacing them with a few centimeters. They will easily create discharges to form over time a very characteristic carpet of thick and fleshy leaves, each measuring between 2 and 5 cm long and 0.1-0.3 cm in thickness. The leaves are easily damaged, be careful when maintaining.
Littorella uniflora is more suitable for terrarium use and garden basin.
