Native to tropical America, Phyllanthus fluitans is a floating plant in the Phyllanthaceae family.
It resembles Salvinia, differing only in the simple leaves emerging from each node. The water-repellent, heart-shaped leaves conceal the stem, which sometimes bears six-petaled white flowers. The more intense the light, the browner the leaves become. Sustainably cultivated in Denmark.
