Pogostemon Deccanensis (formerly known as Indian Pogostemon Erectus produces dense groups of light green rods reminiscent of conifers. This plant can be used in the background, but is also appreciable in central room in small or large groups.
Good lighting lastingly maintains the compact form of the plant thanks to its moderate growth speed and its vigorous root network. Its light and intense color highlights any red plants around.
The plant becomes very dense and requires regular sizes. The cut and replanted shoots will quickly form new roots and lateral ramifications.
