'Blood Red' is the most intensely red variety of Rotala rotundifolia. Placed next to light green plants, it will enhance its vibrant red color.

This plant is easy to grow and can thrive in relatively low light and nutrient conditions. However, to achieve the most intense coloration, it requires plenty of light and CO2 supplementation.

The plant grows upright to slightly arching, producing numerous branches. Regular pruning is necessary to ensure good light penetration and water circulation between the stems.
