'Taiwan' moss is an extremely easy plant that will thrive in almost any type of aquarium. It grows in low light but does not tolerate very high temperatures. Good lighting and the addition of CO2 significantly boost its growth.
The growth habit is very similar to 'Weeping' moss, but Taxiphyllum 'Taiwan' will be flatter and branch more extensively. It will appear denser and more lush when attached to rocks or vertical roots. It can be used to effectively conceal aquarium equipment.
Its exact identity remains to be established, but it could be from the Isopterygium family.
