Asian Flame moss gets its name from its shape. Its wavy, dense, vertically growing shoots give the impression of a dark green campfire, 5-15 cm high.
This distinctive shape makes Flame moss ideal for horizontal surfaces, and it also spreads very slowly horizontally. A beautiful effect is achieved by attaching the moss to small stones or by spreading it in small clumps over driftwood.
