The Master DOC Skimmer series skimmers are easily and simply installed in under-aquarium filtration systems with variable water levels, and their operation requires no adjustments. They utilize the TUNZE® 9420.04 Hydrofoamer, which simultaneously provides water supply and produces skimmate. Circulation flow rates are 1,300 l/h, 2,600 l/h, 3,900 l/h, or 5,200 l/h, depending on the model. The 9420 (1) / 9440 and 9460 / 9480 models share an identical construction; only the number of Hydrofoamers varies. As with all TUNZE® DOC Skimmers, the reactor and collection cup are a single unit: each time the collection cup is cleaned, the reactor is also cleaned, ensuring efficient and perfectly consistent skimming. During bucket cleaning, the Hydrofoamer remains in operation, automatically rinsing the air circuit.
