The foams of the Master Doc Skimmer series are simply and without complications in aquarium filtration with a water level that can be variable, their operation does not require any adjustment. They use the Hydrofoamer Tunze® 9420.04 simultaneously ensuring water supply and foam production. The circulation flow is respectively 1,300l/h, 2,600l/h, 3,900l/h or 5.200l/h depending on the device model. The 9420 (1) / 9440 models as well as 9460/9480 have an identical construction, only the number of hydrofoamer varies. As with all DOCs Skimmer Tunze®, a reactor and evacuation bucket form only one set: each cleaning of the bucket also involves cleaning the reactor which guarantees an effective and perfectly constant scheme. During the cleaning of the bucket, the hydrofoamer remains in service, thus operating an automatic rinsing of the air circuit.
