Tunze Care Bacter contains bacteria sprayed onto a maerl substrate, which helps to keep saltwater and freshwater aquariums perfectly clean.
Action:
1. The various green and filamentous algae are greatly reduced, and the aquarium glass gets less dirty. The introduction of bacteria creates strong competition for the aforementioned algae.
2. Nitrates and phosphates decrease.
Bacteria use nitrate and phosphate bonds as a food source and are then absorbed by corals at the end of their life or removed by skimming and filtration.
3. Corals and fish develop greater vitality.
Bacteria and their substrates boost the immune system, reduce the risk of disease, and prevent vibrioses.
4. The aquarium is noticeably cleaner and organic deposits (mulm) are reduced. Bacteria use this organic sludge as an energy source.
Care Bacter bacteria are classified as non-pathogenic to humans and the environment.
They do not contain toxic substances.

Instructions for use:
For first-time use, we recommend a seeding treatment, which will quickly lead to positive results (measuring spoon included in the box).
For aquariums of 500 to 1,000 liters: 10 ml per week (equivalent to 4 spoonfuls) for 2 weeks.
For aquariums of 100 to 500 liters: 5 ml per week (equivalent to 2 spoonfuls) for two weeks.
For aquariums of 30 to 100 liters: 2.5 ml per week (equivalent to 1 spoonful) for two weeks.
During dosing, we recommend stopping high-speed mechanical filtration or saltwater skimming for approximately 10 minutes and administering the dose directly into the aquatic environment.
Normal dosage after initial seeding:
For aquariums of 500 to 1,000 liters: 2.5 ml per week (equivalent to 1 scoop).
For aquariums of 30 to 500 liters: 1.25 ml per week (equivalent to 1/2 scoop).
During dosing, we recommend stopping rapid mechanical filtration or saltwater skimming for approximately 10 minutes and dispensing the dose directly into the aquatic environment.
