This system is designed for hatching large quantities of brine shrimp. The unit can be placed inside or outside the aquarium in a warm location. Hatching time depends on the ambient temperature. It has a capacity of approximately 2,000,000 cistus snails per culture. The unit can also be used for raising brine shrimp. After about two weeks, the shrimp are adults and can be used as food.
A stable wall bracket and an aeration pump are included. A large-diameter drain valve prevents clogging during complete draining. The included optimized sampling valve allows for controlled harvesting of hatched brine shrimp, with the shells remaining in the rearing unit. The upward-opening lid facilitates refilling.
