The Hypermax 4500 has been carefully designed with user comfort and intuitive operation in mind, even for the most inexperienced aquarists. From the convenient control panel to the wheels for easy transport, everything has been intelligently considered. Proven and patented features from popular ULTRAMAX filters have been incorporated, such as the spacious 1.5-liter pre-filter, which effectively traps large debris and significantly reduces filter maintenance. Cleaning the pre-filter is easy and doesn't require removing the unit from the cabinet. It also features a

dual ball valve system.
Another problem that aquarists are aware of is water leaking out when accessing the inside of the filter with the inlet and outlet hoses disconnected. Hypermax solves this problem with a patented double ball valve system. It closes the filter's inlet and outlet in the lid and the hose openings, preventing uncontrolled water leaks.

Self-priming filter
Setting up the filter is also easy. The filter is filled with aquarium water with just 2 to 4 pumps of the plunger. Easy and convenient!

Safety
With a 24V operating voltage, the Hypermax 4500 offers a high level of safety and automatically shuts off if the rotor is blocked. An audible signal and flashing indicator lights provide information about the problem. The same applies if there is no rotor in the motor compartment.
