Supplement containing strontium and highly concentrated barium. Strontium, after calcium and magnesium, is one of the most important elements necessary for the growth of hard corals. The strontium supports the formation of skeletal tissue of hard coral and considerably improves the absorption of calcium. It also supports the growth of soft corals. In a closed aquarium system, the skimmer and the filter media eliminate waterstium deposits from the water, its supplementation is therefore necessary. In order to ensure that the conditions of the aquarium are as close to natural conditions as possible, the preparation has been enriched by the addition of barium, which is also present and important in seawater. Thanks to the appropriate proportions, the strontium effectively completes the deficiencies in strontium and barium of aquarium water and guarantees the perfect relationship of these elements. The level of strontium in the reef aquarium must vary between 5 ppm and 15 ppm.

Dosage: 1 drop per 100 L (27 GAL US) of water per day. 1 ml of strontium (~ 15 drops) in 100 L (27 US GAL) of water increases the level of strontium by 1.09 ppm. It is important that each aquarium is different and that the dosage depends on the distribution of coral and individual needs.
