Brilliant illumination and magnificent plant growth – that's what MultiLux, JUWEL's modern LED lighting technology, delivers. The interchangeable 23-watt DAY and NATURE LED tubes create an optimal light spectrum while offering energy savings of up to 50% compared to the T5 model.
The MultiLux LED lighting system of the RIO 180 LED allows for comfortable work in the aquarium, even with the lights on.
The ultrasonically welded lighting unit is 100% waterproof and meets high European safety standards.

Sensational technology: the Bioflow 3.0 filtration and heating system. To ensure optimal filtration, the RIO 180 aquarium is equipped with a powerful Bioflow 3.0 filter. This efficient and safe internal filter is the centerpiece of a JUWEL aquarium. Based on the principle that "The water stays in the aquarium!", it provides the safest way to filter aquarium water. The Bioflow 3.0 filter features five high-performance filter media and a powerful, quiet Eccoflow 600 circulation pump.

The JUWEL 200-watt adjustable heater, optimally integrated into the water circuit of the Bioflow 3.0 filtration system, ensures that the RIO 180 filter is always at the correct temperature.
Thanks to the use of high-quality silver contacts and shock-resistant borosilicate glass, the JUWEL adjustable heater meets the highest standards of functionality and safety; it is, of course, TÜV/GS certified.
