The Balling method, as we know and appreciate it, is a method of extreme simplicity to supplement the aquariums with calcium, magnesium, carbonates and active traces.

In Germany, this method has practically replaced the classic limestone reactor.

More and more “seawater” aquariophiles use our Balling salts, even in combination with a limestone reactor, in order to manually correct the imbalances possibly caused by this system.

For an optimal supply of a sea water aquarium, these nutrients must be provided every day by hand or using a dosage pump.
To do this, we have developed a new process based on the Balling method that we have adapted to the current conditions of the reef aquarophilia.
The intensity of the lighting, the installation of hard corals and the special bacterial systems change the needs of water chemistry. An adaptation of the method is then necessary.

Our salts meet the requirements of pharmaceutical purity and are in accordance.
We add bioactive stabilizers to our salts, a PH buffer and special minerals, which significantly increase chemical parameters in aquariums. The addition of bioactive components prevents coral from darkening and accelerating growth as well as the coloring of most corals.
