The BALLING method, as we know and appreciate it, is an extremely simple method for supplementing aquariums with calcium, magnesium, carbonates and active trace elements.

In Germany, this method has practically replaced the classic limestone reactor.

More and more "saltwater" aquarists are using our BALLING salts, even in association with a calcium reactor, in order to manually correct any imbalances that may be caused by this system.

For optimal nutrient supply in a saltwater aquarium, these nutrients must be added daily, either manually or using a dosing pump.
To achieve this, we have developed a new method based on the Balling method, adapted to the current conditions of reef aquariums.
Lighting intensity, the addition of hard corals, and specialized bacterial systems alter the water chemistry requirements, necessitating an adaptation of the method.

Our salts meet pharmaceutical purity standards and are packaged accordingly.
We add bioactive stabilizers, a pH buffer, and special minerals to our salts, which significantly improve the chemical parameters in aquariums. The addition of bioactive components prevents coral from darkening and accelerates the growth and coloration of most corals.
The added trace elements exhibit greater stability in solution and are therefore more readily absorbed by corals.
This results in accelerated coral growth and coloration.
