Ultra Power-Phos is a new wet absorbent based on iron hydroxide that effectively removes silicates and phosphates from aquariums. Pollutants are attracted to the surface of Ultra Power-Phos and are not released back into the tank water when the resin becomes overloaded. Ultra Power-Phos helps maintain very low nutrient levels in your aquarium. Unwanted algae growth is stopped, and corals will display their natural colors.

Dosage instructions and recommendations:

Make the changes in your aquarium slowly and carefully. Start with 100 mL per 300 L of water. After 5 days, the dose can be increased to 150 mL per 300 L. Do not use more than 200 mL per 300 L.

For best results and to optimize absorption efficiency, place the media between 2 filter sponges or use a fluidized bed reactor.

Check phosphate levels regularly using an accurate test such as Salifert.

Do not use Ultra Power-Phos if your tank already contains a very low phosphate level.

If the phosphate level starts to rise again, change the media.

Ultra Power-Phos can be used in fresh or salt water. This media may heat up upon first contact with water. The red coloration of the water is caused by fine particles detaching from the media. This is harmless. Do not rinse the media before use.
