Ultra-Phos is a new aluminum-based adsorbent that safely removes phosphates and harmful substances from aquariums. Pollutants are bound to the surface of Ultra Power-Phos and will not be released again.
Ultra Power-Phos can maintain very low nutrient concentrations in your tank. Unwanted algae growth will be stopped, and corals will regain their natural colors.

Dosage instructions and recommendations:

Important: Changes in the aquarium must be made carefully and slowly. Start with 50 grams per 200 liters of water. After 14 days, the dose can be increased to 100 grams per 200 liters; do not overdose!
Check the phosphate concentration regularly with reliable test kits.

If the PO4 level starts to rise again, replace the Ultra-Phos. Do not use more than 100 g per 200 L. We recommend placing the material in a fluidized bed filter; this will ensure maximum performance. 

In cases of extremely low PO4 levels and undetectable nitrate levels, Ultra-Phos should not be used. 

Ultra-Phos is extremely potent and suitable for aquariums with a high nutrient load. Ultra-Phos also removes unwanted organic compounds and yellowing. In aquariums with a high organic load (yellowish water), it may take some time before the reduction in phosphates (PO4) becomes noticeable. This is a normal process; you will notice the Ultra-Phos changing color from white to yellow and the water in the aquarium becoming much clearer. 

If you are using Ultra-Phos in a fluidized bed filter, please note the significantly higher efficiency of the material. Reduce the amount of Ultra-Phos by 50%. 

Ultra-Phos will become hot upon first immersion in water. Do not rinse the equipment.
