Utra-Phos is a new aluminum-based resin that removes phosphates and humic aquarium substances. The pollutants are fixed on the surface of the ultra phos and will not be re-insolved.

Ultra-phos can maintain very low nutrient concentrations in your aquarium. The growth of unwanted algae will be stopped and the corals will display their natural color.

Dosage

Please note , each change in the aquarium in becoming delicately and slowly. Start by using 50gr/200l of water. After 14 days, the dose can be increased up to 100gr/200l of water. Don't overdose !

Check the phosphate concentration regularly.

In the event that the PO4 increases again, change the ultra-phos resin. Do not use more than 100gr/200l of water. Fauna Marin recommends using the resin in a fluidized bed filter with large speed. In the event that the nutrient rates are undetectable, do not use ultra phos.

Ultra-phos is very powerful and is suitable for aquariums with a significant nutrient load. Ultra-phos also removes unwanted organic compounds as well as yellow coloring. In high -nutrient aquariums, it can take a little while before you can measure PO4. You will notice a color change of the ultra-phos, going from white to yellow.

If you use the resin in a reactor, please reduce doses by 50% and control the reactor flow. The ultra phos becomes hot during the first immersion, do not rinse it!
