The Mitras® LX 7000 series is an ultra-bright, full-spectrum LED light with an enormous power density (7006/7206 versions up to 195W) that guarantees brilliant, natural colors (CRI > 95), uniform illumination, and radiant brightness in your aquarium. Equipped with the innovative GHL Power Balancing Technology® , the maximum LED power can be divided into different color channels as needed.
With its incomparably high photosynthetic efficiency, the Mitras® LX 7000 series is unique on the market. As with the Mitras® LX 6000 pendant lights, this is achieved through carefully assembled, high-power LEDs.
Developed and manufactured in Germany, these luminaires feature the latest LED technology and are incredibly efficient and durable. Compared to conventional lighting technology, this luminaire can save approximately 50% on energy costs per year.
The Mitras LX7 cannot be used in a closed aquarium under a lid. The gap between the aquarium and the Mitras LX7 must be at least 20 cm (7.9″).
Mitras LX7 is also equipped with a (n):
- Fast 32-bit ARM microcontroller with sufficient power reserve for future software expansions.
- Efficient power supply with universal AC input (90 V – 264 V), IP 67 protection class, with all relevant approvals (e.g. CE, TÜV, UR)
Timeless: Interchangeable LED clusters
All Mitras luminaires are designed with future-proofing in mind. Each Mitras model can be fitted with any compatible LED group (mixing LX 6 and LX 7 groups is not possible).
This technology provides the flexibility to swap LED clusters and take advantage of the latest technological advancements.
For example, an LX 7000 can be converted into an LX 7200 with a simple cluster swap.
All Mitras LX models are equipped with the necessary hardware to support various LED cluster types; a firmware update may be required. New cluster configurations can be easily enabled with the GHL Control Center.
No annoying "disco effect"
Unlike many other LED lights, Mitras LX lamps do not create an unsightly and distracting "disco effect." This effect is often described as noticeable patches of color on the substrate that tend to move from side to side as the water surface ripples. Our high-performance, metal-coated LED reflector mimics the reflective performance of parabolic metal halide reflectors by perfectly blending all the LED channels. In a single Mitras LX cluster, all 12 LEDs are housed in a surface area of just 25 mm x 25 mm – this narrow layout and the reflector's special design ensure perfect light mixing.
