The ideal composition of fry food depends on many factors. They are growing rapidly and need essential nutrients for their development. Vital vitamins and the bioelement inositol strengthen the immune system and are therefore included in appropriate quantities.
It is very important that the fry food be the right size for their mouths. It's better to give them food that is too small than too large! The correct phosphate content is crucial for healthy bone formation. A lack of phosphates and calcium leads to bone deformities.

A distinction is made between oviparous and ovoviviparous fry. Oviparous fry are significantly smaller after hatching and initially feed on infusoria (microorganisms). Many species also accept liquid food (JBL PRONOVO BEL FLUID). Shortly after, they will start eating finely powdered food (JBL PRONOVO BEL GRANO BABY or the powder from the first box of the PRONOVO BEL FLAKES BABY kit). Once they have grown a little more, you can switch to the second box of the PRONOVO BEL FLAKES BABY kit. If the parents are caring for their offspring (e.g., cichlids), use a long pipette or a piece of tubing to feed the dissolved food directly to the fry.
