Scrossed fish fish are background fish in South America who are looking for their food on or in the ground with their barbels. The substrate should therefore not be rude, or have cutting edges. They like to live in community (except C. Acutus) and are peaceful.

These are omnivorous and detrimental fish (crushed organic substances). Their diet therefore extends to almost everything found in natural waters. The composition of the JBL Pronovo Corydoras takes into account with plant and animal ingredients.

How do you do if you have different background fish in a single aquarium? Fish also have a taste perception and refuse food that is not to their taste. In addition, it is certain that, among the background fish, we do not maintain any species for which it would be problematic to eat a food tablet normally intended for another species (eg to the Loches). You can therefore give the two kinds of food tablets at the same time (e.g. JBL Pronovo Corydoras for battleship fish and JBL Pronovo Botia for Loches). It will even be positive for fish, since you offer them more diversity.

What is the difference between tablets and pastilles? From a technical manufacturing point of view, the tablets (e.g. JBL Pronovo Tab, JBL Pronovo Corydoras) are mechanically compressed flakes or pellets. The pastilles (wafers) are made from a pressed porridge in an "endless sausage", then debited in thin and dried slices when leaving the extruder. The diameter of this "sausage" then determines the diameter of the pastille. For JBL Pronovo Pleco, two sizes: M and XL.
This process makes it possible to make the pastilles harder than the food tablets, so that they are still hard, even after a waiting time (until it is dark), so that the rental can snack them.
