- Digital aquarium thermometer displaying water temperatures from 0 to 40 °C in increments of 0.1 °C.
- Installation: Insert the battery, remove the protective film, and simply stick the thermometer to the outside of the clean aquarium glass. The two-part hook-and-loop fastener allows you to remove the thermometer at any time.
- Accuracy: +/- 1.0 °C. Battery: 1 x AG13. Dimensions: 6.5 cm x 5.0 cm. Digit height: 2 cm – therefore easy to read. DO NOT immerse the thermometer in water! The thickness of the aquarium glass is irrelevant.
- The water temperature is transmitted with great precision through the glass of the aquarium to the contact point located at the back of the thermometer.
- Included in delivery: 1 digital aquarium thermometer, with battery (AG13) and self-adhesive hook and loop fastener.
- Water temperature in aquariums is crucial for both animals and plants and must therefore be carefully monitored. Most tropical ornamental fish prefer a temperature between 24 and 26°C, but some prefer lower temperatures. The common discus is one such fish that thrives in warmer water, between 27 and 29°C.
Water temperature can be raised using submersible heaters (such as the JBL ProTemp S) or lowered using chillers (such as the JBL Cooler).
