Large filtration volume and easy maintenance

The JUWEL Bioflow filtration system stands out thanks to its exceptionally large filtration volume. This volume is ample enough to ensure excellent mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration, extending the filter's lifespan and reducing maintenance intervals. The filter's design provides easy access to the pump and heater, and the use of special filter baskets allows for easy removal of the filter media for cleaning.

Excellent filtration thanks to the double current principle

Unique in its kind, the dual flow of the JUWEL Bioflow filtration system allows for different flow speeds within the filter, thus contributing significantly to the exceptional filtration power of the Bioflow system. A relatively fast flow is particularly advantageous for mechanical and chemical filtration, as well as for the colonization of aerobic bacteria in the upper part of the filter. Conversely, a slower flow in the lower part of the filter promotes optimal growth of anaerobic bacteria, which play a vital role in biological filtration.

JUWEL Bioflow filters are equipped with a highly efficient and quiet Eccoflow circulation pump, whose power has been scientifically matched to the size of the filtration system. Bioflow filters are also designed to accommodate JUWEL heaters , which are thus optimally integrated into the water circuit and ensure even heat distribution throughout your aquarium.

High-quality filter media

Each Bioflow Filter System features five high-quality filter media:
►Filter wool absorbs large impurities suspended in the water, acting as the first mechanical filter.
►Activated carbon absorbs odors, turbidity agents, and toxic compounds, ensuring crystal-clear water. It thus serves as a chemical filter.
