A whiter light (lower Kelvin) has a higher brightness/watt than a bluer light (higher Kelvin).

ReefSpec blue light is 100% pure (100% usable by corals), while 8000K white light is approximately 45% pure (55% unusable by corals).
Corals can only tolerate 5 hours per day of 8000K light at 100% intensity and 12 hours per day of 15,000K light or higher at 100% intensity.

The "Exposure" we recommend depends on Color, Intensity, and Photoperiod.
The app indicates the Exposure for each time slot as a percentage of the recommended daily total.
