Hydrocotyle Tripartita comes from Southeast Asia and will make a ground cover 5 to 10 cm high. It is probably a variant of Tripartita hydrocotyl, often called hydrocotyl 'japan'.

This variant stands out with its rapid and compact growth and its small bright green leaves surmounting vertical stems. This plant forms a carpet whose compact growth can be helped by applying manual pressure on the carpet when maintaining the aquarium. Good lighting will also be favorable.
