Filigree root in three different sizes
sera Scaper Root is a particularly delicate piece of driftwood, ideal for faithfully recreating aquascapes. Its dark brown color, even when dry, appears almost black underwater. If the driftwood is to be placed freely in the aquarium, it should be soaked beforehand to prevent it from floating. Alternatively, it can be weighted down in the aquarium using rocks or other driftwood.
Unlike other commercially available roots, on which unsightly bacterial growth often forms in the initial phase, only a barely visible biofilm is deposited on sera Scaper Root, which serves as a food source for shrimp and snails.
sera Scaper Root is available in three sizes:
- sera Scaper Root XS: 18 – 20 cm
- sera Scaper Root S: 25 – 30 cm
- sera Scaper Root M: 30 – 35 cm
For vegetation, various types of moss are suitable, such as Java moss or Phoenix moss, which can be maintained with fishing line. But even without planting, the delicate root becomes an eye-catcher.
