CORALRX was developed in 2006 for two reasons: to treat corals suffering from parasites, and as a prophylactic measure in order to promote the good health of parasites or harmful bacterial infections. Coral RX is very hard with parasites, but innovensive on your coral (does not contain iodine or oxidants) allowing you to be proactive in the protection of your investment.
Independent tests
Coral RX has been tested independently by Andrew Lynford, MS in biology from the University of Hofstra. This survey tried to quantify the efficiency of the erradication of three species of dishes: flatworm out, Coral RX and Povidone. His research is available in an article published in one of Advanced Aquarist, April 2009. Here are some extracts from his conclusions :.
Coral RX is the most effective treatment ...
Coral RX carried out as well as a hollow of coral, and it is recommended for corallicultures, wholesalers, retailers, aquariums and lovers to use this product when acclimatizing newly acquired corals.
Chemical treatments are used as a preventive protocol to eradicate planar before they were introduced into the aquarium. These chemical treatments are carried out by making a small dip in the coral.
The acclimatization of corals and living stones with these dips is the best way to treat marine planaries, because it prevents their introduction, and bypassing the problems linked to the release of toxins Convolutrilobid.
Coral RX - A different type of immersion coral
Coral RX was designed while keeping the health of your coral in mind. Our exclusive mixture of natural ingredients does not contain iodine, which is known to dye corals and does not contain oxidants whose by-products are often toxic and continue to react with the surrounding fabric. Independent research is currently wondering about the effectiveness of treatments in iodine. Take a look at this background article in Advanced Aquarist from April 2009.
Treatment
Coral RX can be used in the treatment of many types of soft, LPS and SPS corals. Coral RX can also be used for the treatment of corals that have parasites or other bacterial infections. In addition, it should be used as a prophylactic treatment before putting your corals in the aquarium.
Coral RX should not be used on fish, shrimps, crabs, snails, clams or other invertebrates. We have not tested the effectiveness of Coralrx on "Red Bugs" parasites.
