- Recharge kit for CO2 bio fertilization systems: 1 kit supplies an aquarium from 30 to 80 l for 40 days in carbon dioxide, basic nutrient of plants (mixed with water in the reaction tank).
- Simple use: Pour components A and B into the reaction tank, fill with water, mix the components.
- Natural biological process: CO2 production by fermentation, with stabilizer for constant CO2 production.
- Includes the two components A and B
- Contents: charging kit for organic CO2 systems, including a component A bag and one of component B.
Nutrition of aquarium plants
Plants provide the aquarium oxygen, which is of vital importance for its occupants, they prevent the appearance of algae and eliminate problematic substances. The JBL fertilization system brings CO2 plants to their main nutrients, through water. The plants absorb it and, using light, transform it into sugar and oxygen during photosynthesis.
Difference between organic CO2 systems and those with CO2 bottles: organic CO2 kits are based on a biological process of yeast fermentation that produces CO2. Two biological components are led to react in a bottle or reaction tank. For "replenishment" after approximately 40 days, simply fill the bottle or reaction tank again with water and the two components. In CO2 kits with gas cylinders, CO2 gas available in steel bottles is placed under a pressure of about 60 bars. When they are empty, specialized merchants can recharge them (rechargeable bottles, M system) or, if these are single -use bottles (U system), they must be replaced.
The plants don't care about the origin of CO2, whether from a biological system or a gas bottle. They grow much better as soon as a CO2 system has been installed. These systems are rather important for the aquariophile. Does he want disposable bottles or bottles under rechargeable pressure, or an organic system without pressure?
Watch out for “house” constructions!
If sugar and yeast produce the CO2 expected during the fermentation process, the process is only short -lived and then very violent! The JBL components contain stabilizers that make it possible to operate the continuous reaction process and provide CO2 production for 40 days.
